The Alkira journey began in January 2008. Martin and Rebecca Holloway embarked on an exciting six month trip to Hong Kong, New Zealand, Australia and Singapore. The journey showed a wonderful world and many different cultures. During the adventure they read Sir Richard Branson’s Autobiography, which inspired them to start a business of their own.

The idea was to supply the best Virtual Assistants to business people who didn’t want the added expense of employing someone. So with Rebecca’s vast PA knowledge/experience and Martin’s extensive IT expertise; it was a perfect combination to make it a reality. When returning back to the UK in July 2008, Alkira was born. Today it continues to grow and go from strength to strength.
